ABOUT DORSET
The Dorset landscape was immortalized by Thomas Hardy and much that he loved can still be found today.
Dorset's Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site, internationally known for its unique geology and extensive fossil remains. The Heritage Coast path provides excellent walking with superb views of the dramatic coast line, including Lulworth Cove, Swanage, Weymouth and Portland Bill.
Dorset's small market towns and traditional villages provide easy parking and many individual shops. The Dorset village pubs are delightful and serve excellent food. The countryside is still very rural with great opportunities for the wildlife enthusiast.
